  1. Still awesome after 40 years

    5 out of 5

I’ve been wearing Tretorn Nylite tennis shoes for forty years. They are still the most comfortable and durable canvas sneakers around. I just bought a new pair after finally wearing out my last pair (after many years and many washings). I wore my new pair out to lunch the other day and was stopped by three different guys that looked to be in their late teens and early twenties asking what kind of shoes they were and where they could buy them. It’s nice to be fifty something and young folks commenting on my “styling kicks”…Classic!

  2. Tretorn was at one time the sleekest most stylist and exotically comfortable casual shoe of its kind

    2 out of 5

The fact that Tretorn is now made in China says it all. Tretorn was at one time the sleekest most stylist and exotically comfortable casual shoe of its kind. They have managed to match the style and look and fit. But the comfort has entirely gone. They’ve shortchanged the customer in the most important areas like cushioning at the heel and ankle bone. And the interior lining, that once felt like butter, is now abrasive and cuts into the foot. This is not the Tretorn of old. I’m keeping my pair because they still look great with any outfit. But be warned. The comfort is gone!!

  3. Don't waste your money

    1 out of 5

I bought these thinking they would be the same quality of the Tretorn Tennis shoes I wore when I was a teenager. WRONG. These are cheap with no arch support and zero padding. Even the “padding” around the ankle is fake. A real rip-off so I returned them.
